Sochi – the answer to Refugee Crisis

I’ve promissed that I would write an article regarding migration issue of people from the Middle East that Europe recently faces. I’m here back to eventually take care about this problem and to make a couple of further steps in this case. As some politicians claimed (e.g. the US Senator John McCain) that Vladimir Putin was responsible for causing the Refugee Crisis, by his involvement into the internal relations in Syrian state.

As Bloomberg writes:

„U.S. Senator John McCain said he’s skeptical a Syrian truce will stick because Russia has been given excessive leeway to continue attacks against terrorists.

President Vladimir Putin “wants to use Syria as a live-fire exercise for Russia’s military,” McCain, a Republican who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, said Sunday at the Munich Security Conference. “Common sense will not end the conflict in Syria, that takes leverage.”

All major outside powers in Syria’s five-year-old conflict, including the U.S., Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran, on Friday backed a truce that’s set to start Friday. Peace efforts have intensified after nearly six months of Russian bombing in support of embattled Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian regime, supported by Iranian and Hezbollah fighters, is threatening to drive rebels from Aleppo, once the country’s biggest city and an opposition stronghold.

McCain also blamed Putin for intentionally stoking the refugee crisis in order to sow discord withing Europe.

“He wants to exacerbate the refugee crisis and use it as a weapon,” McCain said. “His appetite is growing with the eating.”

Another politician, i.e. George Soros (we should agree that recently he acts more like a  politician than a businessman) says:

„Putin’s current aim is to foster the EU’s disintegration, and the best way to do so is to flood the EU with Syrian refugees”

later on he adds

An EU that is coming apart at the seams will not be able to maintain the sanctions it imposed on Russia following its incursion into Ukraine.

„On the contrary, Putin will be able to gain considerable economic benefits from dividing Europe and exploiting the connections with commercial interests and anti-European parties that he has carefully cultivated.

„As matters stand, the EU is set to disintegrate. As Merkel correctly foresaw, the migration crisis has the potential to destroy the EU.”

Eventually there are more articles appearing which claim the same, that Putin is partly or totally responsible for causing the RC (of course in a variety of contexts):

Putin using refugee crisis to weaken Merkel

The answer for the problem is… Sochi. Yes, that’s right.

Of course there are some threats of inconvenience, like written in the article linked below:

or in the report below:

I think that migrants escaping from warzones shouldn’t complain on the conditions in their rooms. There is a solution for this, they’ll (the manually skilled men) finish what is unfinished and repair what needs a reparation. Within the period of 2 up to 4 months their temporary lodging will be well done and everyone would be happy.

However, unluckily there are some bad news.

As Washington  Times says in this commentary -http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/oct/15/editorial-valdimir-putin-may-end-syrian-refugee-cr/:

„When the waves of refugees fled Syria, trying to get to safety in Europe, Russia stood apart from the Western powers, pointedly refusing to join any international scheme to harbor the migrants or even to lend humanitarian assistance. Mr. Putin blamed the West for inflaming regional turmoil, saying the crisis was “completely predictable.” His spokesman at the Kremlin said coldly that the cost of providing for the refugees “will fall on the countries linked to causing the catastrophic situation.”

Never the less, according to the numbers published by the Olympic Commitee, they actually have a proper infrastructure for hosting them, let’s aproximate them:

In conclusion, having in mind bombed hospitals, Syrian cities full of innocent people dying on the streets, the time for a concrete help is up!
